Easter Bunny & more

A few weeks ago we were at the mall and Lynlee wanted NOTHING to do with the Easter Bunny that was there. So when I heard they were having the Easter bunny at her school for the Easter dinner I didn't think she would go near him. She proved me wrong..

They always have the cutest crafts. I couldn't get over their ears and nose..

There really isn't a whole lot going on around this house. Other than we are all sick AGAIN. Ryan was off for two days being sick. Lynlee is coughing and I'm starting too. Lynlee had labs on Monday and they came back perfect! I still haven't heard from Pittsburgh but I can't imagine we need to do anything else.

Both in their jammies all day yesterday, but they both managed a smile

Lynlee is still dressing herself. And if anyone knows me they know this drives me CRAZY..

 



I thought I'd share a story with you. When we were at the mall Lynlee walked by Ryan and I the whole time. Most of the time she did really well and listened. Well in Old Navy she was running toward the door and we told her to stop and wait on us. She did. I told her that was such good listening and I was proud of her. She looked at me and bowled.. I was like Ryan did she just bowl?? Ryan laughed and said yes, her Papa has been teaching her that. :)

Easter Pictures

No news is good news from us. Things are very low key around here. Last week I did have Lynlee back at Urgent Care on Wednesday night. I was 99.9% sure she had an ear infection. She was pulling on her ears, crying, saying they hurt.. But I was wrong. She had a sinus infection and said she might have some pressure. She seems to be feeling better, but still has a runny nose. Is it spring yet?? I'm so over the sickness. We've never been as sick as we have this winter.

 I did get Lynlee's Easter pictures back today and wanted to share with you a few of my favorites. If you are on facebook you've seen a few.

Good news plus lots of pictures

Good news! Lynlee had labs this morning and they were lower. Not completely normal yet but low enough to cancel her procedure on Thursday. She will have labs again in two weeks. If they are back to normal we can forget about the procedure all together :)  I'm definitely a happy momma today!

We had an amazing weekend weather wise. 60 some degree yesterday! yay... Lynlee and two favorite cousins spent the afternoon outside.

These kids need to stop growing up so fast!

The past few weeks we've seen more tantrums than normal. Getting out the door is terrible. Really  bad. I "hear" this is very normal but I'm hoping its a stage that passes fast. Yesterday we literally left kicking and screaming and without shoes on. (and that was just Ryan!) Kidding!!! haha..

So today before speech I let her dress herself from head to toe and at her own pace. We left without a tantrum but I can't say she matched.

From last post I said I had been working out. Lynlee has been watching and doing it with me. She does her own exercises all the time. She loves some push ups and does them good!

And this outfit we've had for two years now? I can't remember the last time we bought clothes.

I snapped this picture leaving a restaurant the other night. Lynlee had to wear Vavas coat and she made Vava wear hers.

 

Last night we went out dinner. We ordered Lynlee her food but she wasn't having it. She wanted dads and helped him finish it with her drink. She LOVED shrimp! And who doesn't love Bacon Cheddar Fries. We definitely need to do more push ups today!

Last but not least I was debating showing you this picture. Lynlee had her Easter pictures taken this weekend and I snapped a picture before we left. She looked so pretty ( I know I'm her momma) but I can't wait for them to be back.  And I'll post them for sure!

Snowday

There was a snow day for Lynlee and I today. Poor Ryan has to go to work no matter what the weather is while the two of us get the luxury of being fair weathered (have I told you how much I LOVE my job???)

Even with snow days we don't sleep in. I heard Lynlee open the door to her room around 7am this morning. I don't really trust her at all so it didn't take me long to get down the hall and see what she was getting into.  This is what I found:

She cracks me up. Cartoons and Animal crackers.. I only let her eat a few that early and then we had breakfast.. Don't judge!

I'm in total summer mode trying to lose a few pounds so I got in a quick workout (30 minutes with Jillian Michael's today) and Lynlee was dressed for the part too..

She has wore that headband ALL Day... Even has it on as I type.. And randomly.. Am I the only person in the world that can't wear them? They slip off as soon as I take one step??

Oh and we cheered on the Lady Bulldogs in our TVHS clothes...

And the day wouldn't have been complete without homemade chili... Who doesn't have Chili on a snow day...

Monday Randomness

Today has been a crazy productive day! It might have something to do with the fact that I was asleep before 9:30pm last night and slept until 7am. I woke up with a ton of energy so I made a huge to do list and blogging was the last thing on it :) Dinner is in the oven as I type.

Things are good around this place. Ryan has been working a ton.This is day 8 in a row and won't be off until this weekend (hopefully!) When he got home last night he wanted to go out to dinner and since well he's the money maker I just go with it.

Lynlee had to wear her ear rings..

No they aren't real just her stickers. I'm very anti piercing. I'm not sure I'd feel this way before Lynlee but she has been through so much I can't imagine putting another hole in her body and make her go something so traumatic until she is old enough to ask for it herself then I'll gladly take her..

When she came out of her room this morning she pointed at her hair and laughed. It might have been the worst case of bed head I've seen with her.

Ha, it still cracks me up..

 

You might be hearing from me more this week. Since I've finished all my chores in one day and there's a huge snow storm coming I'll have some free time. Who am I kidding there is always something to do in this house..
