My bad days aren't really that bad!

I had planned on blogging today.

Actually all morning long I planned on what I was going to complain write about it. Sure it's been a pretty challenging week here. Lynlee has been sick with a cold/ allergies. I'm not sure what is what? If you have suggestion on this please leave a comment.. And we've had g-tube issues.. Losing water, pulling it out, etc.. We've also had all our therapies in this week because we are going on vacation next week so it’s been a busy week here.

I was going to elaborate on all of those. Go into so much detail because I've been down and tired this week. I didn't even do Wordless Wednesday.

I was getting Lynlee ready for her nap. We turned off Barney and there was the radio on the channel. And it was the song Lucky Man by Montgomery Gentry. They said the line "My bad days aren't really that bad" or something like that…... And my perspective changed. I actually felt guilty for feeling sorry for myself all morning.

Here we are getting ready to go on vacation to Gatlinburg TN. There are so many people that would love to take any vacation right now and we are lucky enough to get to go. Lynlee has been so stable lately and the talk of a transplant is far away right now. We have a house, vehicles, loving friends and family. We might not be rich but we are surviving. So that song is so right. My bad days aren't really that bad.

Earlier this week I asked for prayers for Mahiya. She had Citrullinemia and was very unstable. She had been sick very often over the past couple months. She had been waiting on the prefect liver. It came and she done well for a while. Well something happened (I don't know all the details) and she went into cardiac arrest. She is still critical and they are taking it day by day. Just writing this has tears pouring down my face. I can't imagine what her family, her mother is going through. So I'm asking each of you that read this to pray! To pray for Mahiya that she stays strong and continues to fight. To pray for her momma!! And to pray for a cure for our babies so that no other family goes through this..

I'm sorry I'm all over the place with emotions with this blog. I think I definitely need a nap and some lunch..

Prayers & Love to all!

Terrible Two's

This is the week we are due to get an ammonia level. However, I didn't plan on going until tomorrow or even Thursday. This morning Lynlee got up and was acting different. Kinda cranky, pretty whiny and very very needy. After about 2 hours of this and 4 cups of coffee for me I was a little worried about her. I was getting a bowl of cereal when she wanted me to go in the living room. I told her to give me one minute. She got so mad. She threw herself down on the floor and cried until she vomited. All while I was pouring a bowl of cereal with milk. After that her eyes looked a little different to me and she just seemed really mellow. I haven't questioned Lynlee's stability in a long time! Today I was worried. Ryan was working on town so he came over and looked at her. He thought she looked fine but we headed to get an ammonia anyways. Peace of mind is healthy for all of us.

Her ammonia was 55! The good news is she is been soooo stable. The bad news: I'm pretty sure we have hit terrible two's. I'm going to have to pray daily for more strength and patience to get through all of this! .

While we were there Lynlee got a "bracelet" from her favorite nurse.. Those girls are so good to us and we are so blessed to have that!

Wednesday Randomness

It's Wednesday but I haven't taken a picture in days!! Probably since last Wednesday! And believe me I've had the time but we will just call it laziness!

This is my 100th post!

Lynlee has a love for Barney! And I actually don't even care. He doesn't annoy me and she will set and watch it for at least 20 minutes. Wow!! So now I have a love for Barney!

She went into the laundry room the other day got her stack of clothes and took them and put them in one of her dresser drawers. She's growing up so fast.

Lynlee's going to be a flower girl this weekend in my brothers wedding. We've been practicing for weeks now. At first she took one leaf out and then threw the basket. The last time we practiced she threw all the leaves then threw the basket! I'll let you know how it goes!

All of this rain we've been having has me dreading winter! Ryan and I got so bored the other night we dug out the Wii! I won't mention who won in bowling?!?! HA!

Next post will hopefully had pictures of the cutest flower girl ever :) Have a great week/ weekend everyone!

It's not Wednesday and not Wordless :)

Well this post was supposed to be Wordless Wednesday but we haven't had Internet service then. Ryan figured out last night that it was our router so as he was looking at what we needed to go purchase he saw that Miss Fingers just pushed a button! Ha ha. You would think we would check these things?

So instead of Wordless Wednesday you'll get chatty Friday with lots of pictures.

On Wednesday we took Lynlee to the park. It was so nice and then last day of August. Sigh. I'm so not ready for winter. She has grown up so much in the past 3 weeks. The last time we were there she cried going down the slide and really just wanted to walk around. This time was a whole new adventure. She took turns pulling me and Ryan up the slide with her. We would sit her down and she would scoot to the edge of the slide and then push off. At the bottom she would get off an wait for us to go down. She would grab our hand, help us off and take off to do it again! It seriously almost brought a tear to my eye (okay! maybe it did!) My baby is growing up so fast!

I forgot the camera but here are the pictures from the cell phone. I do realize that Ryan's iPhone takes better pictures than my Blackberry? Oh well!

Enjoy
