Saturday Morning post.

While Ryan is sleeping after a late late night at work and Lynlee is watching Doc McStuffins I thought I'd do a quick blog about the week.

I can't complain much. I only had a few appointments all week and a lot of down time which is why I'm not doing the usual Saturday morning cleaning.  On the few occasions I was in my office working Lynlee seemed to be in there too.

Lynlee went to school all three days. She is obsessed with wearing dresses and skirts to school. I'm not sure why? Maybe it's easier for her to use the potty or they are comfortable or because everyone makes the biggest deal when she walks in. Haha. So two out of the three days she wore them. Thursday was SO cold I wouldn't let her and she was not happy with me.

 

She also got NEW shoes this week. She loves them. Only wants to wear them!

 

She had an awesome couple of days with the potty. When we ask her what she wanted for doing so good she responded with ice cream with sprinkles and m&ms. So that's what she got.

 

 

We did have labs yesterday and they did come back high. Again. Sigh. She does have a runny nose. Again... So I think she's just fighting off a cold.. Again... See the pattern? It's so frustrating. She has repeats next week. Hopefully they are lower.

Sunday Funday with water guns

After 3 1/2 years I'm still in awe of the way one little girl has so many people wrapped around her little finger. That two that really make me smile the most are her daddy and her papaw. Her bond with these two are ones like no other.

This just wouldn't have happened 3 years ago. Only one little girl could chase them around the house to the porch in 60 degree weather and spray them until they were both laughing hysterically and soaking wet.

Our week in pictures..

Last week was nice. The weather was amazing. I worked just enough to get out of the house but was home enough to be with Lynlee outside. I realized it's been a while since I dumped a bunch of pictures on you, and I think all of them were taken last week.

Last Sunday Lynlee begged to go for a bike ride. I'm not brave enough to put her on my bike so she always rides with Ryan.

 

 



Lynlee is getting a play house at her Vava and Papas. She LOVES it.  There is still a few things that needs to be done but she loves it.

 

Lynlee picked out her own outfit this week and actually let me do her hair! She doesn't like getting her picture taken at all :)

And today she's been potty training No-no I guess. Yes she's even putting panties on him

potty update

It's been over a week since I blogged and since we've started potty training. Lynlee has done SO good. She got her Doc Mcstuffins kit on Tuesday :) She wore her big girl panties to school all three days and only had 2 accidents total. I'm so excited and so proud of her. She goes day with only one accident if that. We haven't really ventured out of the house a whole lot other than her going to school and her speech. I'm not sure how she will do in public and with a big toilet but I'm sure I'll get brave enough soon to try.

It's been a busy week here. I worked a lot and Ryan has worked even more. Last Sunday while we were all here I was panting my toe nails and Lynlee wanted hers painted. She wouldn't let me do it only daddy.

I love the fact that he does this..

 

On Thursday Lynlee had to dress up for school as what she wanted to be when she grew up. I had went out and bought her a coat and figured she would take her Dr kit and be a doctor. I asked her while we were sitting at the dinner table what she wanted to be and she said a guitar player. I loved the answer.. But when she got ready to go to school we gave her the option of which one and she picked the doctor. Ryan said when he dropped her off there was 4 other doctors.. I'm hoping she doesn't forget the fact she's made me gray before 30 and momma needs a new house.. haha..

 

As an award for being good in school all week Lynlee got some water color.. Let me just say whoever evented these papers are amazing.. An absolute genius!!

 

 

 



Progess!

I really feel like a slacker. Sunday was Easter and I have NO pictures from it. Lynlee was home all last week on spring break and they only thing we managed to do with color eggs. It snowed some, it was cold and our whole house was sick. Yesterday and today was the first day I've felt human for a while. Ugh, but we are hanging in there and getting better.

Fingers crossed that it's really spring!

I don't post a lot about Lynlee and her potting. She is still in diapers. I feel like we are beyond behind on this for 3 1/2. We've tried to train her a few random times and she just didn't get it or would have a huge melt down when we even tried to put her big girl panties on. She still isn't drinking what she needs to so we have to supplement through her G-tube with water on most days. Some days she does awesome and some she doesn't even drink 2oz. How we range from 2 to 24 oz in a day is nuts and we have to track a lot. But anyways, the past week or two she has been telling us she needs her diaper changed. Since I'm off until Monday and it's warmer here this weekend I thought I'd give it a try.

She is going to kill me one day. God I love her!

We made a deal once she feels up the whole chart with stickers she can get a Doc Mcstuffins doctor kit. She's really excited..

We did many accidents, but she's NEVER done this good. EVER. There is no turning back. We won't be putting diapers back on. We will get there.. And then we will get this drinking thing down.

I'm also open to taking suggestions to getting her to drink more?!?!
